Marie Curie – Clear winners in BAC Festive Charity Shoot

On Sunday 4th December 33 archers representing 7 clubs from NI braved the cold weather at Gilford Castle Estate to shoot in Banbridge Archery Club’s Annual Festive Charity Shoot, this year supporting Marie Curie.

£500 was raised from the event – a total success.

Archers shot a 24 unmarked Fita Field round and were then treated to delicious stew and refreshments provided by the club. Fun with ‘Secret Santa’ and a raffle of 4 fabulous food and drink hampers.

The club would like to thank Christine Wright and Sarah McCloy from the Estate for the use of their grounds. Also, Gilberry Fayre for the stew and Harry’s Bar for their donated meal voucher.

A special thank you to club members who generously provided items for the hampers, and the archers who shot, without which, the event would not be a success.
