Archery Archery Banbridge Archery Club is one of the oldest archery clubs in Northern Ireland having started some 40+ years ago. The club is affilated to our national governing body Archery GB and regionally to Archery NI. Our club members regularly shoot for leisure and for leisure and competitively in both target and field archery. At our indoor venue in St. Patricks College in Banbridge members shoot from September to end of April, then moving outdoors in May til end of August we train at our field grounds at Gilford Castle Estate, Co.Down. Gilford Castle Estate is also one of only a handfull venues awarded 'Nominated' status from Archery G.B. This venue helps support archers to attain scores need to shoot for GB and Archery Ireland at International level. Over the years Gilford Castle and our club has hosted the NI 3D Animal Championships and regularly runs record status shoots.
